This will be our 12h annual trip to Tank Hollow Fish Farm in Poteet, TX owned by club members Ruth Ann & Vance Schultze. This is usually one of our best attended meetings/events.  Vance has been a commercial fish breeder for over 25 years. Vance raises catfish, bream, and bass for stocking private lakes and farm tanks. Vance became interested in breeding goldfish and most recently long fin koi in the past ten years. He is currently shipping long fin koi all across the U.S. and into Canada. Vance & Ruth Ann will give us a tour of their facilities and we plan to pull up some baby koi to view. 

Ruth Ann raises water lilies and other aquatic plants for her wholesale aquatic plant business. Because of their greenhouses there are sure to be lots of plants in bloom. If you would like to take advantage of this rare opportunity to buy some water plants direct from Ruth Ann you must call in advance as it takes time to pull and prep them for purchase.
